Wai Ming's Reflections
I'm excited to go on this mission trip because I really like working with kids. On the trip, I am a part of a group that will be working with 11-18 year olds. We have planned a 4-day long program for them with lots of games, including a tower-building competition with paper, building hot air balloons and ping pong matches.
I hope that we can show the kids God's love and our love. I want the kids at the children's home to know that there are people out there like them who believe in God and that go through the same things as them. I want to connect with them in a meaningful way. I hope that I can share stories with them and get to know them as a friend.
I don't really know what to expect in India - of course, I'm nervous about the different way of living, especially about the bucket showers! I'm also looking forward to seeing some nature that we don't usually see in Hong Kong. It will nice to be out in the countryside and out of the city for a while.
Thanks for your support!
